Our Process

Design

Every detail in our toys, from the shapes to the colours, have been designed to promote engagement and soothe sore gums. Smooth edges and no holes prevent the accumulation of dirt and the growth of mould inside when taking it into the bath.

The deliberate absence of painted eyes, nose and mouth provides a blank canvas for your child's keen imagination. Babies and young children will initially see a shape (a pyramid for the dragon or a sphere for the echidna) and can play with them without a preconceived idea of what the animal is supposed to do. They can be anything they want them to be!

Designing our Toys

Mini Lolo toys are very soft and squishy, yet very resistant, which makes them ideal for soothing sore gums and harmless to throw around. We found toddlers love to see them bounce off the floor!

Since they don’t make any squeaky noises our toys will not overstimulate your child's senses, which means your child can safely explore without the fear of a startle response.

Our unique funky designs and engaging colours make them stand apart from all other natural teething and bath toys!

Our Toys

Manufacturing

Made from 100% natural rubber from the sap of the Hevea Brasiliensis tree, our toys are guaranteed to be free of PVC, BPA, Phtalates, and Nitrosamines. These substances are usually found in plastic toys and are all strongly suspected of being linked to health issues.

To avoid babies chewing through paint, our colours are achieved by embedding all natural food colouring in the rubber. The food colouring is tested to ensure its quality and safety and are free of Cadmium, Aluminium, Cobalt, Barium, Lead, Mercury and Selenium.

We take special care in handpicking every player in our supply chain and a really important part of our process is the manufacturing of our products. We searched the world for the best Natural Rubber Toy makers, from South America to Europe, and it wasn’t until we arrived in Guangdong, China, that we found a factory with which we felt really confident that they could comply with our designs’ high quality standards and expectations.

Visiting our factory in China

Our products are made by hand with 100% natural rubber organically sourced from Malaysia, making each one of them unique. This factory has over ten years of experience in making high quality rubber toys for babies, and the technology to deliver great and consistent product quality. Not only they comply with the ISO9001:2008 Quality Management System* and have BSCI Audits**, but we personally visited the factory before we started working together, to ensure that they offered a clean, safe and professional workspace.

We truly believe the earth needs more sustainable ways of production and a lot less waste.
